Keeps freezing my machine

Apparently its been like this for awhile, ive been playing for about 3 weeks and i keep seeing and hearing that this has been an issue for over a year now with little to no talk from the devs on fixing it or trying at the very least to work on it. Most hotfixes from what i read have mainly in-game fixes and changes but never really much when it comes to performance. If they have tried to make it better in the past, its clearly not working because i run into the same freezing issue often and alot of rubberbanding and lag spikes when almost anything other than basic walking and menu navigation happens

I'm just killing time till Dungeonborne is released. It's annoying as hell and unpredictable.

Honestly will be switching to Dungeonborne until this issue is fixed. I have lost countless sets of gear due to freezing randomly near the start of the game for 30 seconds. Never freezes twice, I have a thread up about this issue as do many others.

I've sent a formal bug report to ironmace's email, through their site and discord, and haven't heard anything since. This would've been a week ago now.

My pc far exceeds the minimum requirements and changing graphics doesn't lessen the freezing at all. Game runs buttery smooth for me, 120+ fps.

I keep freezing for like 2-5 secs every 10 secs of the match, makes it unplayable. Has nothing to do with my specs, been playing since the initial august launch at 100+ fps at 1440p.

And we're not talking about frame loss or lag the game is locking up my machine entirely which i've never seen anything cause before.

i did my head in trying to fix tthis exact issue, what ended up solving it was turning off voice chat lmao. give it a try
