It's really simple, each type of dagger got a patern attack. Your attacks are blocked when thy hit a wall or smthing. So in really close area, some dagger are usable, and other will lead you to death if you don't have more space for use them. In area with some space, you can use castillon for example (if i'm not wrong?) for wide attack on a pack of skelleton, or aoe'ing two players.
Don't forget to use this at your advantage, as a rogue, you WANT to fight barbarian, fighter, and bad rogue in close area. Ppl saying combat system suck are wrong imo, it's more deep that you think at the first time :d
