I love hard core death games and honestly I'm not even a huge fan of the perk system giveing flat bonuses to more experienced players,

But the fact that you can't enjoy how silly a skelly costume is (that even objectively gives you a stat debuff) in a dnd game that has magic and stuff is pretty dumb lol

I think giveing people an avenue to be silly and creative in an overall serious game is great for game play and longevity

First off, literally never said that. If I did, point to me where I said it - I'll wait.

Second, I think skeletons being a (keyword)playable(keyword) race is stupid and nonsensical, so I homebrew it out.

Does that mean I homebrew orcs out or homebrew them to be unplayable? No - orcs are 100% still in my games, and unlike earlier editions of DnD(Not that you've played, you're most likely just a little 5e baby) actually made them extremely complex as a race/society rather than a mere monster and a supplemental playable race. I pick and choose because I can, as even nearly every DnD book tells you to do. Play how you want!
