At no point were any exits visible that I was even running to, time would have ran out anyways. The stairs were *the only* exit. No rope no portals I never saw nothing but stairs.
TLDR I will never finish a full inventory again and will proceed to exit literally the second they open, thats not desirable from a game dev standpoint.
My issue is I found an exit and it didnt work, and I had like 3 blue items its normally just green trash I cant even wear. So I did everything right, but the stairs wouldnt let me exit. Thats crushing.
Do note you can report that behavior in game and also give them a “strike” immediately through the karma tab on players.
never take a juiced kit in with randoms that extraction games 101
Really they oughta be in high traffic areas.
Pose more of a risk to players who want to get out and force them to possibly engage with eachother as its in a more centralized part of the map.
Have the other escapes sure but have those be limited instead. Easy to group extract but if someone catches you now it’s a battle since your out in the open.
Because seriously who has the time to be lifting 5 different adventures out of a hole let alone we have an infinitely spawning boat.
I've been running solo with base gear (nothing to cry about if I die) and just working toward an exit grabbing what I can along the way. So far so good, 100% exit, and never have ran across another player (if you noticed, must others die in the opening minutes, so the only ones left are a few experienced folks looting chests to the last minute), so solo maps on normal end up very sparsely populated.
(This even included starting once in a barricaded small (like barely wide for just me) room with a chest, than happened to be a mimic! Managed to bust the barricade down with near-zero hp, run into 2 goblins, hopped and dodged around while firing arrows, killed them with that same mimic chasing me, kill that... then the very next chest opened in this same connecting room was another mimic! Killed that, then 3 more mummy things from underwater... quite an advertous start, but managed to get to stairs and live to tell the tale!)
