For example rogue heavily relies on surprise attacks but having lower damage should make them weaker since the surprise gets less effective. Rogue also can attack faster than someone with a 2h weapon so I think rogue should gain more from +1 true physical damage.
This is intentional. Barbs hit very hard and have more hp but have slow attacks, that's pretty normal in most RPG games with barbarians. In high gear lobbies where you are juiced out of your brain you can build for action speed to increase the attack speed of a barb
Look at youtube guides on class tier lists. They will do a better job of explaining which classes are the strongest than i can. Just remember the devs have been balancing and patching for 9 months straight. I have over 800hrs and have been playing since it released off Steam, the devs are working hard to balance it
Mostly boost up a bit the already existing spells to give them a bit more power
I still say the perks are a major issue, like the Arcane perks only effect Magic Missile, the Fire perks only effect 2 spells plus Zap's burn, the Ice damage perk ONLY effects Ice Bolt.
Hell there aren't even any perks for the Lightning spells in the first place either.
