pay2win?

hi all, i've seen a lot of comments about this and looked around and basically saw it was shared stash + character related. Upon opening the game, I see you can choose any of the races anyway and apparently you can unlock them all through gameplay.

So my question is, what is the pay2win aspect?

There is no pay2win at all, period

It's pay to advance quicker. But there is matchmaking that puts you in dungeons with other people equipped similarly to you. So you won't get thrown into a match with someone decked out in legendary gear unless you equip some yourself.

The races are all sidegrades, the shared stash while nice its just extra space.
Highroller is just a harder version of normals with better loot- and more skilled players usually.

Normals and 1 char are enough to experience the game- enjoy it, and get to see most of it. People cant take into normals any gear higher than the ratings you yourself could find in normals. You can also stay below 25 gearscore to ensure everyone has an equal start in the match.

These skins gives more disadvantage than advantaged IMO

They aren't even close to that. They institute very minor changes to gameplay.

Except for Lycan I guess, that's just giving your opponent free headshots with no helmet so playing him is pretty much hard mode. So he's pay to suffer, I suppose, if you can't be bothered to grind for him.

Sooo, it is p2w but not in a normal sense and somewhat complicated
There is a market where players sell and buy items the looted
Normally this wouldn't be a problem
But this game has no anti-cheat and cheats for it are free
And devs added ability for f2p accounts, which cheaters use now, to buy items
So cheating accounts can farm gold by cheating normal matches and one can pay them real money to get this gold by selling something on a market at a ridiculous price
Then this gold can be used by "legit" players to buy the absolutely best gear in game through the player market and winning

i wouldn't say its a demo either. when i think about a demo is like limited time, and maybe like teaser of a game thats 10% or less content. like a trial thing.

you see RuneScape is considered a f2p game but you have only 20% of the game map available until you get enough funds to purchase the rest.

but what DnD offers is like 90% of the game, with only a couple features excluded and ''ranked'' mode locked. but essentially you have the full content open at all times.

Theres Pay To Win SORTA: If Were Being Honest If you wanted a race in game with no financial attachment youd have to win like, 75+ Games. VS spending 10 dollars for a lizard etc, even IF it has debuffs its still an advantage though these advantages can easily be overcomed by just playing the game IE Lizard Extra armor But No Helmet (finding a helmet isnt hard) but if you REALLY wanna argue you can buy the emotes which can help your hitbox in some ways..... i wont mention. Tho you can earn all these emotes, You could also argue that legendary is kinda "pay to win" but also skins / races not available in store anymore

But also not having legendary status disabled being able to do high roller dungeons so i guess there is SORTA pay to win too
