sdf's wording on discord about it being a "critical problem that requires urgent fixing" should be pretty telling. Usually when this happens its either a major security flaw, or a duping exploit was found. It's important to stamp out duping exploits fast or they end up obliterating the economy within a day.

so a fighter can use any weapon with a penalty (I do that)
But the fighter definitely doesn't have magic.

there is a suggestion that you are a beginner, this is normal. I recommend playing for each class to understand the mechanics
