Report a translation problem
1. Switching your attack to another hand can be faster than waiting for the entire attack chain to finish from your main hand, resulting in more DPS.
2. Another weapon means more bonus stats will affect you.
1) The ability to have a crossbow in each hand while also having a melee weapon in each hand is pretty valuable.
2) Using a dual wielded weapon as a "stat stick". The dual wielded weapon has good stats on it that make the main weapon strong.
Aside from that there isn't a good reason to have multiple weapons equipped at the same time.
