its a good practice to time jumping with every panther bite/swing, to take only 40% of the possible damage due to limb shots.
rat form, all tho it prolongs the fight, isnt good for the druid as he cant do anything until hes out of it. when he rat forms chase him no a matter what, and debuf him if you can and await his next transformation. if he notices you try to heal or swap to a spell he will panther/bear you so u must never give him the oppourtun to do so
a final piece of advice is to carry a molotov or 2, as you can throw it and its inital splash damage on break will DESTROY rats.
wishing u well on ur druid hunting,
-a fellow dungeoneer
Yeah they can cast spells but your a bard dumbass you got a flut that does negative 3 debuffs to all for 20 or 30sec and other stuff.
And druid cast times can be pretty long but the way i do it is healing touch ==> mending forest or whatever called ==> summon tree => animal form or another healing for my friend.
The problem with druids is they are weak without armor as bear form does less damage then the cat form but the cat form has less hp then the bear form.
As the bear form is the tank an cat the dps so you will need armor to incress stats so the % reduct on dps and dishing out dps buffs the forms give you will apply to your base stats that can only be increased by armor.
At least as far as i know so that said for new players like me who don't have gear stored up i am better off only casting spells such as healing and what not so my friend with sword and shield can tank and take down other players.
As my animal forms do little dps and cant tank well with basic base stats due to lack of decent armor to increase the overhaul stat values.
So that said keep in mind the druids can be broken up into 3 categories.
1. good druid with good normal gear to top tier normal run gear ==> in return can be tanky in bear form and dish out more dps in cat form ( unlucky to run into this player )
2. druid like me who got starting gear and gets geared up within the dungeon run and only is good with spells but mostly defenseless on your own as this is a support role no matter what
3. they more focused on animal forms and use little to no spells out of form only to buff and passive heal and have some gear going in that they got from few runs ago unlike the first one i said there more likely to have decent to very good gear.
So in the end i hear the clerk is better healer and got more defense from the fact you can use a shield and probably have more heavy armor then druids can have let alone use other weapons that druids may not be able to use to dish out more dps.
So druids are third best so i was told just hang in there and play with a friend in dungeon runs where are teams of two.
And thirdly do not do the ice map that is almost impossible to find exits out so you'll most likely die from the map then players :)-=
