Not getting gold from trading

I try to sell items, any items, to any vendors, even vendors I never sold to, and they don't give me any gold. I can't find the gold in any inventory

im having this issue as well and it's NOT going into an empty or partially filled coin pouch

The coins go automatically into purses in your Stash if you have any, and some items sell for 0g - you should see the sell price when you are trading your items to the merchant so check that too.
