Are players incredibly quiet???

I never have problems in any other games where I can't hear people coming to kill me, but I can never hear when there are people creeping up behind me in this game, even if it's a full party of people. Feels like I should be able to obviously hear peoples' footsteps, especially if they're heavily armored.

if you press shift you are walking which si more quietly, i use it to sneak up on people i usually wear heavy armro so it seems to even work with that,

i often hear people walking around i think the sound works pretty well, sometimes i even listen to videos in the background and i manage to hear them

just be sure to stand still if you think you hear something, its pretty difficult to hear others footsteps when you are walking yourself

You used to be able to hear players walking and performing activities from a room or two away, but that's since been changed to be within a ~20ft radius around the player now, afterwhich footsteps and activity is completely silent.

Also, for some reason, Panther Form for Druids is completely silent, it makes absolutely zero sound when walking around.
