F2Ps Need Character Slots

I pretty much called the "F2Ps can only buy from traders" thing to my friends, but one of the others I wanted to happen was at least 1-2 free slots for us. Yes, any game that's Free needs to make money somehow, but locking things that are simple mechanics behind a 30 dollar paywall is just asinine. Character slots shouldn't be something players have to spend real money on, it was never a thing that should be paid for, and I hope Ironmace understands how boring and restricting it is to lock most accounts behind just one characters with no way of transferring items easily

Look, just give F2Ps 1-2 slots, and keep the full 5 behind Legendary access. I wanna try Rogue, Druid, even go back to Cleric, but I have a Lv. 53 Fighter as of writing this, with Epic gear and good rep, I don't wanna lose all of that because I wanted to change my class in a fantasy game. Just hope I get people backing me up instead of people saying this is a nonissue, cause it is an issue, locking simple mechanics behind a paywall

Gunna be honest them allowing F2P players to buy from the market isn't going to help F2P players close the gear gap on B2P players. You just simply can't make the same amount of gold as a B2P player since they can sell excess gear for significantly more than vendors will buy it for.

For the record I don't have an issue with this but I think its really silly that they believe that allowing F2P to buy from the market is going to solve anything.

Didn't ask for everything to be given for free, I'm saying don't paywall basic mechanics we've had for decades. Everything else can stay in that for all I care. Y'all don't like when people thought about making save slots in games a paid feature

Please support the devs if you really enjoy the game. It will be a overall better experience for you and it contributes to sustaining the devs. They dont plan to battle pass this game, so all content is free until release and I assume DLC will come later.

Make A New Steam Account, Download Free Game, Try Out New Characters.
Or Spend Money Like Intended.

Supporting The Devs Is More Important Than Wringing Out As Many Bonus Free Features As You Can.

You didn't?
So you didn't write "I wanted to happen was at least 1-2 free slots for us"

That's literally asking for something for free to be added, that is not currently available.

I don’t think they should, f2p already got a bunch of features the only thing I see left to incentivize people to buy the game is the character slots, if you are enjoying what you got for free why not support the game by buying it and then enjoying the features?

i was a F2P. i spent a few hours trying all the classes by playing one a few rounds then changing.

I found myself enjoying the game so i just bought it, now i have all the slots.

if you like the game support it by buying it.

Instead of being antagonistic, you could try being nice. If you wanna throw insults, go play Tarkov or Rust, that community seems to be right up your alley

I only bought Legendary because of how much I was given as a F2P character. If not for the player slots, I don't think I'd have any reason to support them outside of "I want to support them."

If that's what twists your arm into supporting them, because wanting to see games like these that you play succeed isn't motivation enough, then so be it.

I might, but I don't have the money for it will bills. I'm enjoying it too, but I find it hard to justify 30 bucks for the benefits, that and bills are more important
