If you add improvements to a product but it is still a BAD PRODUCT, there's no reason for people to give it glowing reviews. They are reviewing the product, not giving the developers a gold star for effort or a participation trophy. The product is still bad.
The devs don't know what a fair/fun experience is sadly
What are you talking about? Just go into the low gear lobbies under 25 gear score and learn the game. Some of the most fun is in low gear lobbies where you don't have to worry about being undergeared or losing a kit
Shame you feel that way because i really enjoy it and have been playing since play tests. Great game. 820hrs so far for $30 usd is a good buy
Unfortunately, a review score reflects the totality of everyone who has played or purchased the game, not just you. And, in aggregate, most people rightly feel the game is not worth it at either the $0 or the $30 price point.
You assume everyone, or even most owners of games leave reviews? That is not the case.
People who are un-happy with any product in life, will always be more vocal.
