That's how it goes with games still in the development stage, features can either stay or go away. Not sure how that's hard to understand. If this was in beta stage then yea, I'd be questioning their lack of consistency.
Nothing wrong with trying something out, and the data collated from it can help the game moving forward

It would need to offer a very limited number of skills and perks (all of which are not vital to the identity of the class, so things like Victory Strike and not Sprint for example) to not be hysterically broken.
