Bandage only heal the red lost health. Healing potion heal any.
Press G to rest which takes a long time and heal lost red health but if you get up you lose any remaining lost red health so it can't be healed by rest or bandage anymore.
Bard has a song that drastically increase rest healing.
Druid and cleric have a lot of healing.
After you extract, unequip your potions/bandage and then tell squire to get new and you will keep the ones you extracted with.
First things first we need to define two different health states:
Recoverable Health - The dark red health on your health bar
True Health - Your full health bar
You can heal Recoverable Health in 2 ways without the use of abilities:
1. Resting - Pressing G (by default) will have your character sit down and start resting, this will very slowly heal your recoverable health over time. This also extremely slowly regenerates spell usages.
2. Bandages - Using a Bandage will heal a burst of Recoverable Health based on the rarity of the Bandage.
You can heal your True Health in 3 ways without the use of abilities:
1. Resting at a Campfire - You must use a campfire on the ground and then rest near it (press G). This works the same was as normal resting but will also regenerate your true health. I believe campfires have increased duration based on their rarity.
2. Potions of Healing - These will heal you for a small amount over time. You can not stack the effects of Potions of Healing.
3. Shrines of Healing - These are slowing green shrines that are scattered throughout the different dungeons, when you interact with them they will give you a full heal regardless of how much HP you were missing. These are multi use but the cooldown between usages is pretty long.
If you don't have any health potions of bandages you can go to the Merchants tab and click on the Squire -> Base Gear and he will offer you some Free Potions and Bandages (as well as other starter gear). Once you've selected what you want make sure to click on Set Base Gear in the center then Equip Base Gear to actually equip it to your character. You can come back to the squire after every single raid to get a refresh on these items!
Some classes do have a natural ability to heal, but this comment is already getting to long so I hope this helps.
