Dark and Darker

Single player experiance to hard?
Idk if i'm just bad or just inexperienced but i believe the single player experience would be better if there weren't enemies that i have no chance against in single player mode. I see how multiple players could take down some of these enemies or magic casters soloing a giant by looping but i just don't find it enjoyable. a more pvp and smaller enemy based single player experience would be very fun.

I have 36 games played in goblin caves, 32 extractions. (I have probably played ~100 matches in total including other season)
You just need to know how the enemies attack and how to avoid it and then you escape every time (except when dying in pvp).

Goblin caves is the easiest one. I feel like you have a lot more room to move, easier enemies and very reliable to get to exits.

Goblins have so much easier attack animation than, say, kobolts. Kobolts seems like goblin reskin but they actually sprint too much and more unpredictable.

Frozen map has wolves, probably the speediest creatures on normal maps, which aren’t present on goblin caves. And wolves are always in good quantities. So frost map is just hard. Skeleton archers might fire arrows in succession which also cannot be seen on goblin caves.

Castle has some issues with exits. At least I find it hard to find. Each time. Does it have fewer extracts than other maps? But also castle has complicated map layers structure that is harder to navigate. And it has crossbowmen, which are pretty tanky better version of goblin archer with higher damage. Narrower spaces, more traps, it’s darker than goblin caves, it has Wraths that are more dangerous than Centipede, and a lot of roaming streamers there because they want to go to inferno.

And goblin caves, yes, easiest of them all. Still hard for novice players. But you can learn fast there. Enemy has easy predictable attacks, map isn’t that much complicated in structure, a lot of space, altars, chests, and goblin mages who completely easy to dodge and after a couple attacks they just stay afk casting endless spell which does nothing.

Going deep in castle into inferno is suicide. Only streamers successfully extract on inferno. It’s unreal for normal 100-hour players. And players mistakenly go there thinking it’s an extract.

Remember:
• Go up it’s an exit
• Go down it’s hell

Once you figure out their move sets you can take on most enemies with base gear

You get better man. I started out spooked with a fighter having trouble with all kinds of PvE.

Now I can kite around 2 skel warriors/a few zombies/maybe a mummy or two as long as theres only one archer.

I got smoked in PvP the first bunch of times, honest panic as it happened hah, but now I can manage a little more. People get spooked when they realize how much armor I have compared to them, they gotta really get more hits in.

It all comes with time, its new man. Goblins are a nothing burger, when I spawn in with below 25 gear score in the goblin caves I just charge the first room. Pull what I can and merc them all before looting anything. Don't get touched.

Or I make sure to have way tooooo much healing stuff on so I can burn through bandages without care.
