M2 is a cell processor (ARM) not a X86 chip u even run a off ver of windows IE ARM based not X86-X64 its not the same mac support in this day and age just wont happen since they ditched intel and X86 also the GPU in those chips isn't game ready at all ur just gonna hit wall after wall trying too get it working this is why even blizzard doesn't support mac anymore
GET A PC if ur wanting too game
I don't know much about macs but the game runs great using Proton on linux. Is Proton an option on mac? If not maybe dual boot windows or linux on your mac.
the hardware is the same crap in iphones and ipads these days they did run intel chips in the days its not like the AMD X86 apus in steamdecks at all, i have yet too see such hardware run pc games yet
when it was an intel chip running windows boot camp made it a windows X86-X64 computer now it runs a arm based ver of windows i dont even think linux supports it
Leh sigh, same tired old argument and none of it relevant to this thread. For the sake of argument, I dual boot windows and Linux, there is a good and bad in both. But most games work flawlessly for me in Linux. Baldurs Gate 3, FF7 Remake, CS2, CyberPunk, DMC5, Doom, Sea of Thieves. The only games you'll really have problems with are multiplayer titles and almost all of them are literally able to be enabled simply in the anti-cheat. Gray Zone Warfare recently turned this on as did The Finals.
For someone like me who's working machine is Mac and isn't much of a gamer, mostly play (1-3) titles. I don't see a reason to invest at least $1k into a good PC just to play occasionally.
With the recent Gaming Porting Toolkit 2[developer.apple.com] announcement, even more games are available for us to play.
Like KorinFlakes have said, there are cons and pros to all platforms...
really, ur using your companies computer to play games? You should prob be fired :)
so yeah they probably will deal with this after the current bigger issues but idk maybe not lol
