Fame tied to whole account
Fame should be combined throughout your players and averaged and put into a algorithm to match players with a gear score to fame ratio to help reduce the noob sniping players.

damn I've been outed
xD ive only 200 and i still feel like a timmy even with mobs despite soloing bosses. xD

i think that would be hard. some people just focus on support only vs trying to get a kill. granted if you play enough you'll get kills for sure but something tells me pairing a support cleric with 200+hrs and 100kils vs a 10hr barb with 100kills (just a poor example) isn't fair either even tho that happens currently. personally being thrown to wolves can help expedite that learning curve. sometimes it can get rough dying to the same class 10x, so you come up with plans and strats. There are other games where they give you like 3-4 "easy" matches and then just throw you in with everyone else as soon as you win or play those games to completion. keep playing under 25gs untill you start getting back to back no die runs, then try to move up the gs.
hours in total played wouldn't be hard to throw in there.

Of course you can never stop smurf accounts and that just has to be expected. Timmy hunters despite it being "fun" are ruining the game for newer players and ultimately destroying the games player base. It's not hard to understand its like this because its hasn't been "fully" released yet so it doesn't have as much press. So when a new player finds it Tommy is delighted to smash open his Christmas present.
srysly learn some critical thinking. its not hard to see whats wrong and isnt.

that doesn't solve anyting other than a time sink man. It's a great game. just make it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ balanced between the players. have they never heard of MMR. other games do it just fine. they're lazy. thats what it comes down to.

seriously. stop trying to defend a broken game. I love it, and im addicted, but you can't turn a blind eye to the fact its not in a state that's fun. maybe for you OG's, but not for others. I've made it through 24's and its just depressing to see a 500 fame player in the same lobby as a 24 lvl timmy player. It makes no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense. its like matching up a feather weight and a heavy weight.

Oh no... I have to play with people of similar skill knowledge and experience as me? This ruins exactly what the game is about. That's unfortunate that the community has created this stigma that dying over and over and over by people killing that just run past mobs to get to rush your spawn is absurdity. Does someone with 10 hours of gameplay know how to traverse the cells that quiickly? definitely not, they're working on surviving doing quests while you gain nothing from timmys. It's a demented way of thinking and you're all ignorant for not even recognizing this. This isn's ancient Rome and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Colosseum.

You don't have to be rude, I asked a simple question.

The problem with your suggestion is that it makes queues incredibly long for players who stick around long term, so they are *incentivized* to make new accounts to start over.

It's not a problem that can be addressed, that's true, but giving players more reason to do this will only be worse for the game than the current system, which does need more work.

Likewise, this would also make queues for newer players worse as time goes on, because the dedicated players will either be stuck in queues they don't have access to because they're just starting out, or they'll just be run down by the smurfs.

As of right now, you could have a really high fame player in a lobby, a bunch of newbies, and a bunch of players inbetween which I think is better than having just new players and smurfs.

Edit: Just to add a little more, this information isn't just assumptions, it's based on what I've experienced myself and seen from top level players of other games. The average League of Legends ranked queue at the top is around 20-30 minutes because of how precise things have to be at the top for a game to have all players of similar skill, and that's in a game with millions of players, not 10k.

I experienced this in Apex Legends, even ranks as high as platinum were 10-15 minutes a pop, and that was at the games' peak. I'm guilty of making new accounts, probably 5 or 6 of them, because waiting wasn't something I wanted to do.

go make a D&D clone then and see how it turns out. people think this stuff is easy to do and the devs are lazy (which could be a possibility) but this game isnt made by a studio of 200+ people nor are they backed by money like dungeonborn was. everyone has all these "great ideas" then they don''t get put in and then people go "stupid dumb devs will never listen and will only cater streamers and youtubers" like yeah cause they have an audience of people who watch/play the game so yeah their voices are going to be heard more. plus its like...the devs are active on reddit/discord...no one is getting anything done on steam forums x)

if people learn better/faster being in a harder environment that is the opposite of time sink, my guy, its a faster experience than someone taking you by the hand.
