Visored barbuta helm and dark cuirass for Fighter

Just wondering why the visored barbuta gives you extra will? I think its the best looking helm in the game and would like to wear it, but cant understand why you would have a magic buffing stat on a character that cant use magic. Same for the dark cuirass buffing like 3 stats the fighter doesnt need. Any ideas?

It is for warlocks with the plate armor trait

While it's not exceptionally helpful, Will does raise buff duration which is useful for things like Sprint and lowers the duration of Debuffs on you like Bard's Shriek of Weakness.

Is it worth dropping Dex or Str for? Probably not, but the option is there.

The Will boost counteracts the loss in magic resistance from wearing plate, if one prefers to use the fine cuirass.

Yeah but the magic resist gained is minimal, you could just equip a regular barbuta helm instead or just wear dark plate armour so its not even worth it for the MR side

i was just wondering if it was for that stupid class, as if theyre not dangerous enough and they can also wear plate armour. Can literally spam curse of pain on you and run off like a rat until you die.

Warlock is very weak atm unless you are giga geared and can aim your ♥♥♥♥. Also plate trait reduces cast speed as a trait off. Plate build is more for demonlocks

Warlock is likely the second strongest class in the game atm, what are you smoking?

Play TM, run DoTs and Flame Walk + Phantomize and you can live through pretty much anything.

It really REALLLLYYYYYY isnt. It got nerfed into oblivion to a point its, LIKE I SAID only good with good gear when you have SKILL. They warlock in sub 25 with curses atm. Happy dying cause you cant just run kite in lower lobbys. Being faster then your opponent is the only way you gonna do anythign with it.

You literally have hitscan spells that you only need to hit once every so often, which you can cast as much as you want as long as you hit something (including mob!), which is easy because it's hitscan and if someone gets close, you have both a spell that makes getting close to you do damage in Flame Walk, and a get out of jail free card that still allows you to heal off those previous spells that you applied, do damage with Flame Walk, and if you understand how to use the ability optimally, can block off doorways with mobs and get more distance.

Warlock is hands down the easiest class in the game. Sustain, infinite spells, invincibility for a good period of time, access to some of the highest damage melee weapons in the game, and capitalize on the move speed meta better than many other classes.

You keep saying "if you're good" but Warlock players literally can be below average cavemen slapping their keyboard and still manage to win fights.

Its gone off topic a bit now but i 100% agree, warlock is the worst to fight, they can just bully you because theyre mega fast and when youre a fighter, you have to miss out on an extra melee weapon just to take a ranged weapon so you can even defend yourself.
