Trojan in TavernComn.dll?

Hello there,

i just updated DnD via Steam and got an alert from Avira.
TavernComn.dll is in quarantine because there is TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen2 hidden in it?
I'm confused what to do. Is this a malfunction of Avira?
Anyone got the same message?

I had the same thing. F-secure gave a "generic trojan" alert, ie. it thinks the file behaves like a trojan rather than identifying a specific virus. I suspect its a false positive though and caused by poor programming.

We should probably submit a sample and mention its probably false positive..

Whats best though is that Dark and Darker devs become aware of the issue.

My antivirus just triggered the same thing. Would love an announcement from the devs before playing now. Who knows what could be slipped into the code. I'm also extremely ignorant about this kind of thing so I really don't know if its just "nothing" to worry about

Got the same trigger from this DLL. Has not triggered before.

Guarantee its a false positive. Probably has to do with their own anti-cheat scanning things.
