Just play hr 0-224 it's pretty balanced
You can't go in full crafted blues and + to all stats are farmable in pve and pretty cheap to buy tbh
not originally it was normals and 100g HR
and only trio lobbies
I enjoy DaD, and I did back then as well, but the issue that causes a lot of the problems that cropped up weren't solely IM/SDF being clueless.
The moment the game started being hollowed out and metagame'd with things like boss/spawnrushing everything started going downhill, players started treating the game more like an arena fighter rather than a Dungeon Crawler Extraction game, the vE portion of the game was eventually minimized down to just the bosses 90% of the time with people just running past everything to get to players.
Just look at how many people were outright infuriated about them randomizing the Goblin Caves because they could no longer find people just by running to the elevator/boss rooms, it wasn't a Dungeon Crawler to those players, it was a stomping ground.
i was meaning play test 3 the ai did shot and hit faster and move faster players didn't know how to bunny hop to by pass speed debuffs. that still happens today, not a player i haven't seen in pvp that doesn't bunny hope with less speed stats then me and still get away, and get me, 280 speed still gets a player with 320 i have no idea how that works but it's common as.
and players used to do real combat, then what it is now run hit run hit..
and lets not forget pve was hard as the dmg was far higher even the basic goblin mage hit hard and a almost none doge'n magic project
ps i know you know you're a know'er, knowing you're a know'er means you'd already know all this
