ok got a named item in PVE / weird mob?
so I just randomly for the first time saw a skele with the agility helm for barbs on.. took forever to kill, was just in PVE doing quests and etc. But just checked its drop "bloodsap blade" heals you for 1 hp on physical hit. thats odd is that a new thing or just super rare?

actually was kinda cool seeing skele with any gear tbh tho

Mid way of last season.
These mobs are pretty rare, I've encountered 3 unique slimes myself and got minor artifact out of 2 of them.

Named mobs and "Minor Artifacts" have existed for a while now. This is normal.

They were added at the start of the season before last I think. There are a few Named mobs, I think the chance to replace the regular mob is 1/1000, and then a 50% chance to drop the Minor Artifact.

yeah, I killed the same mob and got the same loot, I wish you could use it in main hand because I don't use off hand sword that much except on rogue, would be nice to run it on fighter or cleric main hand with shield.

Cleric can't use it in the first place.

they might of buffed the rate.. possibly only for PVE ? idk but found another named monster a mimic gave me 2 named lanterns lmao. I guess it would make sense to have the named monsters be more common in pve tho. But yea legit dont have any memory of a named creature this entire time going HR to inferno. the mimic was first map, the skele was 2nd map tho so maybe thats why I usually did just try to rush to inferno majority of time

I should add 2 named monsters in PVE and I havent been doing PVE mode long at all compared, but PVE modes kinda nuts purple gems/rings/amulets and some really solid gear at times too. wonder how markets gonna react to it tho. Might be a good thing to have stuff not cost an arm and a leg but at same time kinda defeats the purpose of finding some nice drops like a purple gem. getting rubysilver is still pretty good it seems its reduced to 1 per rock but apparently gave full prior. I hadn't done pve at that time tho

1/1000 plus a coin flip? yeah that's by no means "normal" haha, that's extremely rare. Probably going to be worth a pretty penny on the market.

I currently have 2 Bloodsap blades; they 100% increased the spawn chances or something. altogether i've encountered Viking-helm skeleton about 4-5x within this week.
Kind of a nice change of pace if its actually true. now if only the others were the same.

-Theres also a Unique Ice-Spider that drops Heavy-leggings that -30 movespeed to the attacker
-Theres also a Unique Ice-Imp, that drops SpellPlunder Rod that regenerates ~24 spell memory per hit. basically if you melee something, you get 1/5th of a Nature's touch or Ice-Bolt.
there might be a few others. more to come too in the future probably.

im cool with the mobs just having random weps/gear that adds to their stats. like say that skeleton was a barbarian and now has some remaining gear on them. then we kill the monsters and can loot their body/take pieces of gear off them like we would other players. sounds kinda cool. even without the named stuff. just a random roll for it all. would def add some difficulty and spice to the monsters

it also would make it so if you see them wearing gear you know you want that you can try for an upgrade or a few. even jewelry and capes etc. so a spearman skele will drop spears, a zwei skele will drop zweis and so on. with the possible other random gear they roll/equip
