PVE mode needs to be separated or offline local hosted.
You can't have a pve mode and a pvpve game linked together. You should not be able to progress and loot in pve and keep it for the main game. All this does is create the path of least resistance.
I have been testing the pve mode and I can make more gold quicker just running that currently than normals or even HR. You can kill the bosses in HR and still just get purples. I could literally just do pve mode for this. Some of the best gear I found so far with good rolls is in PVE, this is just wild.

All it should be is a place to go, learn pve and maps at your own pace. Offline local hosted solo or with friends and you only leave with what you went in with. No progression with the rest of the game.

the economy should be entirely separate. it should be co op with friends/ join randoms mostly and then they should have an offline single player mode that is basically a hardcore challenge way of playing where you iron man your stuff yourself and make it all from scratch and find it. obviously mobs and an option to have random events of mob related things to come attack the player would all need improved and set up nicely. more mobs, better mechanics/random mechanics for mobs so its not a pattern and easily avoided

players making challenge runs on the main game would be cool too. toggles and a "start new run" for characters where they cant untoggle unless they wipe their progress. people could toggle the market off for that character, and do everything themselves. some people may want a hardcore go until 1 death then delete character and restart type of toggle. and so on. various challenges with a leaderboard for it (they also can be on the regular leaderboards too)

PvE will make things more affordable!

Save the gold farmers!
Save the RMT sellers!

We can't have affordable things in that game, where you can have your gear erased 4 times an hour!

This literally does nothing to gold farmers or rmters. All this creates is a path of least resistance that people will take. The main game already dying and HR is dead in the ground. You will go games without seeing anyone and if you do a boss, half the time you'll just get the same thing you would in pve.

HR deserves to be dead.
Sdf wants to take it in the direction of sweatiest hardcore homicide fest, and that's what he will get, but that's 1% of playerbase.

And only thing you can reliably get in PvE are ores and herbs.

HR deserves to be dead.
Sdf wants to take it in the direction of sweatiest hardcore homicide fest, and that's what he will get, but that's 1% of playerbase.

And only thing you can reliably get in PvE are ores and herbs.
Wild take. Players like you just want a different game than what Ironmace set out to initially make. And would rather just see the game crumble without any direction split by different community perspectives caused by so many queues creating different games within the game.
Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the PvE gear lower tier than the base PvP entry level? So all this does is allow the PvE fans to supply the PvP fans with base entry gear on the market once it opens back up.

I love PvE being a normal online mod and not some separated sandbox. I stopped playing in the middle of the previous season cuz I had no fun dying 80% of the time just because I got unlucky. I hated it when the devs prohibited friendly encounters in HR (which affected all game mods and made all players hostile towards each other). Now I'm obsessed with the new mode and I think I'll quit if they take it away. About the items value, purples have always been cheap for most items. Going to PvE mode I could get max 8 purple pieces in 3 levels of the castle while casually playing (bosses and piles included). No skilled grinder in their right mind would spend time in PvE when they can just kill a few guys in HR and get much more valuable items. Also of course u could get more gold in PvE now, when the actual market is closed and selling legendary and unique to the vendors is a waste of resourses lol, why would u even think of selling the loot now?

People are doing PVE to get stupid quests done, and that's about all I see of it.

If you find a rare good loot in PVE, so what, you can rat in PVP to do the same ♥♥♥♥. You're honestly over-reacting. There are bigger problems with the game that deserve outrage.

My man, I started with steam release, this WAS A DIFFERENT GAME when I started and sdf is now chasing his tail and retracing abandoned idea, because I guess he forgot why he abandoned them.

3k players was his goal, keep up the direction the game is going right now, and population will eventually drop by 80% to match that 3k players goal.

what this tells you is that the game NEEDED this, because the combat in this is too janky to survive as pure hardcore pvp with full loot.

If anything they should invest more in PVE, i bet most of their playerbase will be PVE eventually

I agree with almost everything here it's exactly what I have wanted since I first started playing the game. the ability to run offline or third party peer to peer with friends would basically give me everything I want no need for wipes because the economy offline doesn't matter.

I was indifferent about economy split, but if PVP andies think it it's important I won't really push back on it on the main servers I think their experience matters anyone that's got gear from PVE will quickly lose it in PVP if they haven't developed their skills. I just want to be able to run PVE dungeons and arena and I will be happy.

I'd prefer a PVP/PVE economy split over PVE getting gimped gear because you should progress in the style of game you want and be rewarded for it. I don't see the rewards for playing PVE worth engaging in as they stand, why should I attempt some extremely hard boss fights that kill you in one shot for epics worth only a few hundred gold on the market and no shot at a artrefact weapon?
I don't mind it. The loot in Pve is limited so it can be a nice way to have a few chill runs to reset your coffers after some failed runs. Its never going to be your main playstyle, unless you're happy with low tier loot.
