can there be a change as to where you find the boss rooms like somewhere in the middle 3x3 like ruins

I agree boss rooms in ruins and goblin caves should be more reliable. since they have a seperate loot room. for crypts I like it to be random tho, otherwise bossing will be impossible due to 3rd party
It is a catch 22 though. If you put the boss in a static location then it's just back to people rushing it every game and making the loot drops LESS VALUABLE. If it stays random then the encounter rate for players should be lower thus INCREASING the VALUE of boss drops.

i dont boss for the drops i boss for the fun of the fight but its SO hard to find bosses in hr

Sometimes its just luck. I dont think you should reliably find the boss every time or even try to. The game becomes predictable when that happens.

While I can feel for you if you enjoy bossing, I don't think it's intended (I have no idea here) to be a SOLO experience. If you are in a TRIO now and looking to boss you can clear modules much faster and safer while searching and then obviously kill them faster with 3 people.

As homie said I also do not believe bossing is to be done on repeat and should be more of a bonus find while looting.

Pretty much that, yea. Roguelites are known for unpredictable encounters and happenstance events. Can't have that if you're doing the same routine every time, just going straight for the boss location.

And make no mistake, this game is going down the roguelite rabbithole of design whether SDF wants it to or not. He is resisting it, has been resisting it, and the team has pretty much pushed him into a corner on this because they know it works. He wasn't originally in favor of random dungeons with fog of war either and dragged his feet an entire year trying to fight the team on it. But there are only so many formulas that actually work longterm with the structure they currently have.

I suspect the BR circle in HR is probably SDF's last stand of defiance to try to have things his way, but even that mode added back fog of war because it simply works better. Just a matter of time before the circle gets deleted again.
