Just kidding but we will give shotguns to both Fighters and Barbarians.
I would absolutely love flintlocks and muskets as a class, you see the problem with them is that if you miss, it takes a long time to reload. Early muskets were also very inaccurate, not to mention pole guns. Having to lead your target as the firing mechanism takes a few seconds as well.
Stopped reading there. Sorcerer has factually the worst move speed in the entire game. Yes, that includes cleric.
Sorc has the ability to use no weapon reducing movement speed loss, they dont use a shield (but then again neither do clerics anymore) and they dont use plate armor, but then again Clerics drop their chest and legs etc too. Sorc has the electric teleport, giving it increased mobility. Also nearly ever spell slows enemies, and then slows further with another type of magic. Lightning, frost. 40% debuff. Not counting the knockbacks. The *multiple* knockbacks, with infinite charges. Im playing Sorc myself. Its already insanely OP. The problem with the flamefrost bolt or whatever wasnt the size of its impact box its the fact you cast at people in front of you and it goes over their heads. Every single time, cant hit Goblins with the combined attack. The spell is originating somewhere too high, and not actually going where its aimed its taking an arc over people in front of you.
Clerics have a spell called bind that slows them while casting, it takes from memory 1 second to cast, binds for 0.75 seconds - less than the cast time, and it has few charges. By the time the Cleric is done casting it, hits an enemy with it, and they are bound 0.75 seconds the Cleric is still further behind and has increased his gap due to spellcastings penalty on movement speed. And being the slowest class to begin with.
And of course thats ignoring Clerics who are playing the meta dont bring spells, they go lantern and ales and play like a Barbarian. Ale is your shout, drink the ale press W swing. Thats Cleric gameplay. They just gutted healer Cleric, Clerics dont even heal. Nobody should notice if they are playing Cleric correctly to begin with. There *IS* no healer class. There are damage dealers who may heal.
Druids should at least be given a strong spammable heal with upfront heals or actual heal over time not reliant on doing damage. Someone needs to be a real healer if Clerics arent allowed to be.
