Step 2: Cry about there being PVP
Like go back to roblox lmfao.
As soon as they can give stats will there be an objectively best, and all others fade into obscurity, becoming another meaningless item
People like you and above some, are reason why no new people want to try the game.. steadily losing people is not excatly healthy for "purely online game".
Also "Offline server" cant meet with other pve players or what? Scared that you would lose even more people from pvp if they could chose?...

maybe the sash changes appearance as you take it through dungeons, and its a personal item so it cant be sold, youd literally have to take in and get out with your own sashes to evolve them
Didn't you say in another discussion that D&D is a PvPvE game rather than just PvE? But now you're calling it PvP?
As you said, the current situation is much closer to PvP, with PvE almost being ignored—just a side element. Am I wrong? Everyone's just focused on killing other players, completely disregarding the PvE aspects. How is this PvPvE? It's just PvP. So why not separate the two? What's the problem with that?
People who enjoy PvP will play PvP, and those who prefer PvE will play PvE. What's the issue? You say PvE players are just whining, but honestly, you sound more like a coward to me.
Why? Are you afraid that if only true PvP players remain, you'll get wiped out? What’s there to fear? Isn't this the PvP you love so much? Shouldn't you be enjoying it? Or do you just need other players to sacrifice their fun for yours? That would make you a pathetic coward.
So, which one are you?
Could buy a permanent one, that changes color as you mentioned. Increased AP would need some "spent time in the dungeon" as people could stack it just by "go in - out" in current system.
Without PvP, getting AP is quite.. slow. This could actually increase the PvE gains even without rushing in like some ungabunga. Rewarding longer times clearing mobs and such.
Great idea.
