WARLOCK IS OP
He just spammes his spells and when I get close to him he uses phantomize and runs away and starts spamming again, Even tho I have magic resistance but still so hard to kill

but that *is* what he's always done. What makes them miserable to fight has always been the same. Update didn't change that.

WARLOCK op? my barbarian 80 I.Q required laugh so much hahaha, 295ms + rage = 330ms, with 150hp no gear, ez kill. The real question are who u use ? maybe a slow guy for sure🐌, other guy are very good vs Warlock are the Ranger or fighter with a Bow

2 things can be different variations of OP compared to the remaining roster tho. since release ive always thought warlock was beyond broken (and I played it a lot too) the main cause for it being broken is:

1: mob clearing with flame walker

2: pvp gap making through phantom/flame walker excluding all melee but fighters/franny/hand crossbows really. and even then outheals that damage in a second.

3: infinite healing with no cooldowns or downsides/limit. For example you can cast a fireball on wizard or a holy strike on cleric and deal like 20-30 damage right? but on a long cast time and a limit plus for fireball they can sidestep its slow animation. in the same time you could have thrown 3-4 curse of pains for that 15 or 20 damage instant as it bleeds your enemy and heals you infinitely.

4: never have to sit or rest or recharge anything (which is only an issue because other classes do) you can fight a player get down to 20 hp and then heal to full almost instantly and definitely faster than a surge kit, campfire, potions or bandages for free rapidly.

5: rogue detection. The literal best counter to squishy ranger/mages is supposed to be an assassin from the shadows. This class however can wear plate, use weapons a fighter uses like falchion, longsword, zwei etc and throw a hydra down to not only be a sentry/provide healing but also detect their supposed 1 weakness. (a ranger hitting every other arrow to dwindle their health down wont do anything since they heal so rapidly it HAS to be quick burst like an assassin) yet for some reason rogues been nerfed for its strengths and has to choose between what should be in its class by default (lockpicks/traps, extended stealth times/walking steps while stealthed and hidden pockets shouldn't even be perks it should be just what the classes identity is) and for whatever reason instead of making rogue focus on its assassin capabilities on squishy targets like rangers/wizards/warlocks/sorcerers they gain... armor pen? so they're now more tank slayers? sorry but the point of a beefcake walking in wearing a suit of metal is so they cant be assassinated. its very backwards. If rogue was where it should be and warlock wasnt given everything a fighter has weapon/armor wise mixed with better magic capabilities than other casters. Warlock would be in a far more balanced state.

This is how things should go in the class (avoid at all costs list)
Rogues (avoid plated juggernauts at all costs)
rangers (avoid plated juggernauts and assassins at all costs.)
plated users (avoid magic at all costs)

-melee beats ranged loses to mage

-ranged beats mage (excluding those like warlock that infinitely heal their poke) and lose to melee to an extent unless plated then lose fully and should avoid. but heavily lose to assassins who can ambush them in their face for hard fast burst damage.

-mage beats plated users hardcore and is on par with ranged/melee as they have good distanced damage too but still can lose. but loses hard to an assassin like rogue who can ambush them in their face.

instead rogues are designed and pushed to be metal plate armor slayers it seems, mages are having free answers for their counters (in warlocks case not wizards)

metal armor is useless since it may or may not make you only take 1 more swing more before dying at the cost of you being unable to dodge, being fried by mages at turtle like speeds and having turtle like speeds against mobs/in general.

The devs IMO need to write it all out and come up with some real positives and negatives to everything in the game even the weapons/gear. Plate armor should have far better tankiness/projectile and lose agility. but as it is now all gear only gains stats and doesnt lose (unless its move speed) imagine a piece of armor gaining 5 agility but losing 20 armor. or rogues not being designed to have free armor pen, but rather more burst for low armored players. would be far better balance and far more enjoyable. everything should have a sacrifice to its benefits. But im a nobody so w/e what do I know we just have to either play the game or dont and suck it up

idk how to say this nicely, but please type less

we have a serious issue in our society today where people are not learning how to read and most just say yap yap in the younger generations to hide it, and others use emojis. We as humans with access to education should make reading a critical and very important priority. I was shamed for my Dyslexia, the teachers would talk to me slowly like im a dipsh*t. but despite that I would practice reading through school and read books and so on. I dont mean disrespect either.

But if you dont want or cant read then forums where theres only letters and words on it should be somewhere you would avoid/prefer not to be id think? Theres youtube shorts, theres tik tok, theres streamers, theres emojis elsewhere and so on.

This is just words. so I dont see the logic in actively going to someone elses post you dont want to read to tell them you dont want to read it within a forum that is literally nothing but reading. sorry again no disrespect but pointing out how it makes no sense

For me, I think that all classes can be countered and after its the gear and the skills.
the Cleric can become a tank, the Bard can play nice music like a troubadour, The Druid can fight and eascape blue portail, Sorcerer can spam a very nice water balls its very strong, the Wizard can casting a spell and say like "wait i need loading my spell" and dead like this, The Ranger can spam some arrow because he need some balls for close attack, The Rogue are invisible and are only visible when you have kill a boss, The Fighter can make what he want, bow or close attack but strong for sure, The Barbarian can win all fight in 1v1
