can you use goblin merchant/saint nic gear for arena without losing?

It would say "handled" not "found by". you would lose whatever you got if you lost.

you could buy cobalt ore, buy the gear needed to make said craft, and run that. you can't make multiples of the same item to farm stats, but once the vender refreshes, you can buy that same piece again in hopes of BiS stats.

But full cobalt or ruby or w/e....you can only do so much depending on who you fight.
