Cockatrice's Lucky Feather

Anyone else having a miserable time finding the feather? I've killed it about 30+ times in the past couple days with no luck. Also running into others in game that seem to have the same issue. Unlucky or?

Are you playing in PvE? Because monster drop rates for quest items and such are significantly reduced in PvE.

Never mind. Apparently, they super nerfed all quest item drop rates for some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason.

I killed close to 200 with around 500-600 luck, and nothing. Sady the drop rates are trash in PvE but PvP is abhorent garbage and one of the worst and most unbalanced and unfun PvP ive ever seen in a game. So just suck it up and maybe it drops at some point, or go to PvP and probably die to a player trying to even get to a cockatrice.

i've never found one as well and i've been killing it in hard core mode

can't use the ones you get off the market must be loot, it's lame

Well, i killed a lot (like A LOT) and finally drop one for me. Then, during a match which i was not willing to kill the cockatrices and I had to do it and at the end, guess what? Dropped again! FFFFFFFFF!!! Now i have one spare. Now i am struggling to find spider silk...

Yeah there's reason why fetch quests in MMO's and ARPG's are never rare drop items lol

Same. Also Giant's Toe, around 150 kills on Pve

Don't bother with the cockatrice quests, it's a massive waste of time and energy, the only things you get from them are a small handful of mid gems once a day, the time spent completing all the quests for the merchant, you could have obtained x100 the gems the cockatrice could give you in 1 seasons time. #PureFacts

The biggest joke on the player base is that after you've struggled to get that feather, you will now be rewarded with more struggling. Good luck getting those rare treasure drops.

Yeah probably a good idea, i recommend this as well to the OP. The whole PvE had no point existing in this game, and the way they added it is even more a slap in the face to every one who even thinks of playing this game. Lowering the drop rates for quest items invalidates the whole reason for this mode to even exist in the first place.

For the first few quests that's easy enough. Enjoy spending 100k+ getting all those items later on when you are dealing with legendarys and uniques.
