Yeah it's a hold over from the last wipe....makes no sense. this is the casual mode players shouldn't be fighting for exits in PVE mode.
I'd be happy with both of those applied. If the PVE mode was made primarily as a tutorial/training mode for learning how to deal with the mobs, then that's not going so well. Most of the mobs, outside the module you start in, are dead. Too many players. We find the difficulty isn't really the mobs, but rather, finding exits and the stress related to that. Don't really feel like we have enough time to explore and loot because we are always so rushed to find exits first. Then we finally find one, try to relax and go kill some more mobs and get chests, but then most are already gone. And you return to the exit you found, and if you are unlucky, it's already been used. Aggravating dying to timer and losing the loot you have been saving up.
It could be better. Hopefully they will "fix" these issues soon. But I'm not holding my breath. Still though, I'm super thankful the PVE mode even exists.
