Why should it be an upgrade?

Simple QoL, the way quests are released, this craft not being an upgrade of the already crafted coinbag is bad.
It's also simple common sense, the spectral bag is a better version of the regular coinbag thus making it "obsolete", the spectal bag being an upgrade is just logical

I think the real question is why shouldn't it be an upgrade ?

not trolling at all. im proving an example from another game that does what you ask. what about the POE method but including the spectral Fabric. A simple 3 coin bags and 3 spectral fabric for a spectral Bag.

its too cheap. too easy to get. Spectral fabric, 10,000 gold, a wolf pelt, and a legendary item seems much more fair. Also helps get rid of trash legendary.

I understand the interest in upgrading the normal gold coin bags, but I see no urgent reason to allow this.

For newcomers or casual players who can't kill the troll or spectral knight several dozen times a week, this would be an economic disadvantage that would divide the playing community. Currently, only the top good and elite players would benefit from the upgrade, but not the entire community.

So in a nutshell: No, not useful for the masses.
