That doesn't make sense? As it dipped under 24 hours on the timer it changed to "soon", so it'll be soon. Giving them some leeway if an issue arises.

Its looking like its a big nothingburger for several reasons. The one pointed out to me is that you have to sacrifice gear which offers no benefit, and everyone will choose the most popular religion as choosing lesser ones means getting less buffs. That the buffs you even do get are weak, and will apply to everyone essentially equally unless you choose a crap religion with nobody else in which case youre sacrificing your gear for literally nothing.
