The description says it applies +3 dmg to allies's damage. Per description, it should not apply on the bard himself.

A lot of YTer recommand taking this skill (in solo?).

Who's right? does it apply on the bard as well?

yes it does. "allies" always includes yourself

For the bard who continues to play music during the fight. This is best used with a cheeky flute debuff rather than like hey Im the 3 damage song guy playing the entire fight. I always feel stupid playing music and people are actually swinging 40-80 damage around.

Want to get bard nerfed, start dumping the pacification song on the entire enemy team while yours ranged them to death. Thatl get fixed, if 1 person actually uses it well.

Tldr no melee can fight you while playing it, and you can sit on their ranged while playing it. I havent done this as I dont voice chat 3s with people and play randos, but 90% of enemy teams wouldnt even know what youre doing to them. They would just press attack attack attack and go wtf its not working. Then theyre dead. Or the song ends and they all beat you to death in .3 seconds that too.
