Dark and Darker will have its first Twitch Drops campaign

We are proud to announce that Dark and Darker will have its first Twitch Drops campaign beginning on September 13th, and running until September 20th! Starting next Friday, you will be able to link your Dark and Darker account with Twitch via in-game options. An FAQ will be posted with next week's update explaining how to do so.

Once you're linked, you can tune into your favorite streamers to catch the action on the newest wipe and earn rewards for watching. When you receive your rewards on Twitch, simply claim the item and it will be added directly to your account! You will find the items in your cosmetics inventory.

the game has 20k - 30k players daily man, its fine

nah. i think plenty of games do this already and only a handful of people actually participate or care about it. destiny 2 does stuff like this ALL the time and i never see people wearing those exclusive twitch drops. im sure other people can find other examples in other games. it might be a way of getting "fresher eyes" on the game but Summit, XQc, Soddapopin, and other pretty big streamers have already streamed the game/still play interact with it. granted while they have a specific audience the game should've exploded with more players. i think Summit brought in alot of people in the game tho despite the numerous rage-quitting uninstalling from losing fights. dude lost to a druid who did nothing but run from him and it made him uninstall the game x) i think the next day he immediately downloaded it again.

if anything increases playerbase twitch drops is a great one. i love drops personally and ive seen so many games thrive from it. that being said im having no trouble finding games

um <25 exists so there def is room for strats. sure the 330ms can be rough vs under 300 but i mean, when youre playing on unlimited gs, the first thing you should be doing is maxing out your ms or trying to get more of it at least, it only sucks for the new player who don't know about it. idk to me, ms isnt that big of a deal. if you catch them off guard sometimes movement speed doesn't even matter.

I’m aware of the ms meta, but I enjoy melee classes, right now the melee gameplay is a game of mouse and cat
