Should I move to Steam or stay in Epic Game Store?

SO, I started playing dark and darker using the Epic Game Store, but tbh I prefer having my games and play bia Steam.
I'm not afraind of loosing my progress BUT I do fear that the devs award played time with something, so is there a good reason to unninstall the EGS version and install the Steam version of this game?

I play on Epic because I had problem buying red shards thru Steam. Other than adding numbers to Steams stats, I doubt it does anything else.
