Because if you're playing rogue there are about 800 things you could be doing wrong. That is a class that, for the most part, only has one way to win each individual matchup.
I've used potions well before someone enters a room and they seem to home in on me anyway with other classes.
This season I've been playing Warlock, Bard, Druid and some Paladin. It seems like every match up is an enemy rushing me super fast and killing me in about a half second. Armor doesn't seem to matter at all and even if the gear scores are similar, it's not even really a fight.
It's so quick I can't seem to really learn what I'm doing wrong.. like 10 minutes of looting and then 3 seconds of fighting and death where I'm lucky if I land one blow before they either land 4, or do a one hit kill.
Basically I'm dying too fast to learn anything, and it's starting to feel like a horror stealth game where if I get detected, I'm dead.
but yeah it still doesn't matter very much lol
If you are using a potion to go invisible then always remember that they can hear you drink it and if they don't hear footsteps after it's kind of a give away. Anticipate that they know where you are in those situations and try to hit first.
my warlock is like 6-280 KDR after probably 600 hours playing it....
my barb is like 30/60 KDR so i'd just play barb if i was you or fighter then you have a chance to just smack someone 2-3 times with bardice or longsword and win a fight
Example, you aggro several rooms of monsters as a player chases you, then break line of sight and chug the potion. Now the monsters will be attacking the other player.
Or you can play mindgames with them. Turn out the torches on one side of a doorway, then stand in the well-lit side of the door as an enemy comes through and chug your potion there. He will assume you are in the shadows and expose his back, then you whack him.
It's dumb tricks like that. You aren't erasing your presence so much as you're screwing with somebody.
Then why you come here and cry again about your leaving this game. Delete it and forget.
P.S. you need to think in DnD how you gonna fight, it is not only about balancing classes.
How can I be crying when I've got a massive smile on my face ripping whats left of this pathetic game to shreds. Go complain on the comment I made about a sewage bath sounding more pleasant that playing this game again ; )

i think its a bit older....but it still exists, and some don't even try to hide it.
