Empty lobbies no matter the gear score.

I'm playing on all EU and US servers and I've had 3 games back to back where i met no one.
Not even the kill feed showed up cuz there was no one in the server for their names to show up.
Me and some randoms walked around the whole goblin caves map and we didn't even see dead mobs or open doors anywhere besides ours.
I tried going in with 155 gear score but now i can't even find a HR game let alone wonder around an empty one.
I can understand low gear score matches but not even HR? Is something wrong?
Are you guys finding games?

Maybe they tried it before this armature dev team changed the F2P into a bonified demo. It is early access but this game has changed significantly in the past 3 months alone. I think its safe to say most people don't like the game and don't think its worth 30$. If they did I think the game would have more players.

There's 12k players on steam right now, at very late in the night... without any content added in since the start of the season.

I think i remember hearing that there are alot of newer people working on the game who work at Iron Mace. its a ~100 person studio where 40 are under marketing/community stuff, the other 60 are on game dev (how its sorted from there i have no idea, but, there are "4 monster guys" in total tho, the 4th being hired not to long ago).

as it stands currently i think the only people playing rn would be people in Arena, or the last few trying to grind ap for HR. I myself have come across a few empty lobbies but in <25 when im doing quests anyways so. been finding alot more newer people when in full lobbies so most games i can kinda just do what i want.

Just came here to add my two cents. If you dont think this game is plagued with cheaters you dont run rogue enough.

This game isn't that fun to play and your reward for playing is to be able to be half asleep and still beat enemies because you simply out gear them. Things would have to change before this game is able to maintain players. One thing is for sure theres at least 8k players that will play this game no matter what

I'm not the person you are asking but if you google Dark and Darker cheats its the first result. If you think there's no cheaters then bro just carry on and enjoy your game

Just going to save you some time. The responses you're likely going to get are:
"It's obvious and you're an idiot for not being able to tell"
or
Some form of "are you denying cheaters exist"
or
"Look up X content creator and watch their video and you'll see cheating"
or
links to a cheat selling website or video with multiple links to cheat selling websites.

What you will never get is any personal evidence of cheaters they've ran into.

If there's any cheat that I'd wager is far more common than people would care to admit it's probably ESP, anyone who knows Tarkov knows just how much of a difference knowing where people are through walls can make.

I don't play anymore but even when I did I didn't bother recording cheaters to send to IM in the discord ( I think that's silly ). Expecting documentation of cheaters is silly but if that's what you require then that's up to you. Maybe tell IM you are settling a discussion on steam and need documentation, I am sure they could provide it to you, or maybe you think they haven't banned any cheaters? None of it matters to me, have a nice day.
