Cosmetic, you can create your own character. This may not look like much but it really adds a lot to a game. I hope D&D will add that soon (no, paid races don't count).
its the same genre but dungeonborne does alot of things different altho i personally prefer dark and darker atm but i do hope dungeonborne turns out good so i have 2 games to play because i love this ♥♥♥♥.
You right. Though i do hope DB doesn't go down that route.
We had different races have different perks- but couldn't change them as they were stuck to each "Class".
With the inevitability and vagueness of the premium shop coming i hope that we don't see P2W mechanics be introduced day 1 of the games released with paid races.
Dungeonborne is more of an arcade, its more about speed than strategy in PVP.
The Passives in DB are not always active, you should raise certain attributes in order to unlock them (which i find very stupid).
The spellcasters are broken and boring: IF you carry mana potions you are kinda of unstoppable.Let me remind you that there is no "rest" in Dungeonborne.
The melee combat its kinda better but not that much.
Dungeonborne has better graphics for certain and "larger" levels.
Also the Classes...I Cant say that I was enjoying the classes in Dungeonborne since they are very shallow: Only two skills per character, fewer weapons and fewer spells.
Is it bad?I personally dont like it.
I prefer Dark and Darker because it has a better atmosphere. The PVP has more strategy in it,the characters are unique (for example Druid in Dark and Darker looks more like a Dungeon s And Dragon Druid. In Dungeonborn its more like an arcade)
...This is just specifically a gripe I have with DaD, not a commentary on Dungeonborne just for the record.
