Gear Score Brackets

I went into a match with base gear at 9 gear score, went into the lobby and just messin around with emotes with random players and i happened to check their inventory. 440, 356, and 113 gear score for the first 3 people i checked. The next match after i geared up a bit since i didnt see anybody i went in with 113 gear score and everybody in the lobby had base gear mostly under 25
All in all ive just been playing without worrying about the score unless people im playing with want to be within a bracket, but it just seems like it doesnt really matter much if you try to stay within it because youll still have higher geared players filling in the lobbys if it cant fill it with lowered gear players
Not hating on the game btw, more or less seeing if other people also play without really paying attention to the gear score and just wear whatever armor you happen to have at the time

What reason would I have to lie about it, im simply asking if other people have the same thing happen and/or play without worrying about gs. And did you write the code? So how would you know that, it clearly happened to me because I saw it happen so obviously your just wrong. If you don't believe it move on and don't be rude

Yeah I did, not gonna deal with that anymore. I've only been in discussions on steam for like 2 weeks so I genuinely don't understand what he was on about
