Wizard: I charge my spells but sometimes they dont cast

so mostky with magic missle but i will charge a spell and then it wont even cast the spell but it will be used up and ill waste a speel slot or two and idk why its happening

Magic Missile requires you to be standing still while casting it, if you move as soon as the spell casts it will eat a cast and fire nothing.

oh yeah theres the dumb issue where if your hand or staff hits somewhere (even if the tip touches the ceiling) spell fizzles
