bro bard is a support class, read its spells/passives. at the same time it can also have alot of damage behind it, alot of people use bard to solo troll because of the buffs/debufs you can apply. bard does not need a buff, you just need to learn to play it. i wouldn't recommend trying it if you're new. some people dont even fight teams that use bard + cleric combo.

Es complicado ya que cuando actualizan no hacen menos fuerte al que deberían corregir, por ejemplo el mago, o bárbaro, o el guerrero que usa todo tipo de armadura, mi druida le quitaron invocaciones al árbol de 4 a 2 invocaciones que me defendía y ni siquiera puedo usar escudo o espada mágica, debería usar más elementos como ataque de hielo y no se puede incrementar mucho el ataque mágico. Bard is probably one of the most OP classes in the game right now even when solo. They dominate solo play and have been all season.

Bard can buff himself.
Bard can debuff MoBs/Players.
Bard can use the best bow in the game and also the funnier.
Bard does have funny/strong/troll spell
Bard can be played in so many style that make this class really enjoyable.
Bard dominate solo/duo and trio.

This class is op, one of the most op like the guy above said and that's fact, but there is always but. This class do suck at long range; as good he is, this season it's really rare to see a Bard, back in the day they used to be everywhere.

Bard is one of the most OP but always be one of the hardest class to play since the release of this class. This class used to wreck lobbies in solo and used to be best class to solo every boss. All I see is someone complaining about a class because you're not good with and it's okay tbh. But at the second you said

You can literally outrun every class in the game as a bard, if you find a pdr fighter just shriek of weakness, a barb uses rage or a fighter uses sprint just use languor, you can open and close doors faster than the enemie can get close to you.
You can put 10 arrows in someones chest in the time the ranger shoots 3 or a fighter gets his bow out.
With rapier mastery and warsong you can kill faster than a rogue a naked wiz, you can even wallbang people with piercing shrill from another floor or behind doors 3 times in the time they get close to the door.
Just practice and get better at the game, a bard cannot kill without buffs nor debuffing its enemy, you cant just stand still againts a longsword fighter or a bardiche barbarian and win.

YOU WILL SHOOT 300 ARROWS TO KILL PRD FIGHTER YET FIGHTER WILL ONLY NEED 3 SHOTS TO KILL BARD WITH HIS BOW OR CROSS BOW
YOU WILL BE DEAD WHILE YOU DO SHRIEK OF WEAKNESS OR ANY SONG IN CLOSED COMBAT AGAINST BARB AND FIGHTER OR THEY WILL BE OUT OF RANGE
YOU WON'T EVEN BE AVAILABLE TO CATCH OR TOUCH WIZARD SINCE HE HAS HEIST AND INVIS

Like we said, this season is a lot about ranged class which isn't the best part of the Bard. Simple as that. I'm open to new thing, but you're complaining craps atm, so yeah if you're bad with the bard in solo nor every mode it's on you. Also like someone said it's mainly a supp oriented class so yeah it's prolly not your best choice in solo, and in additionnal if you're struggling w/ it just switch and take another class

Personnaly bard is one of the few class i manage to get a decent highroll score without too much effort (until servers become unstable blocking access to high roller).

I precise :
=> i only play solo.

=> Perks :
(*) Rapier mastery
(*) Story teller
(*) Wanderer luck (because i like the 50 score in luck)
(*) Jolly time (i would replace it with lore mastery or fermata but as the game often give me ale for unknown reason i tend to like it).

=> Skills
(*) In both case i take songs (in a period i was using "encore" but i change as i learn songs).

(*) First song list :
=> Tranquility : pretty good if you commit a mistake and need to heal fast.
=> Harmonic shield : always good to have extra defense
=> Ballad of Courrage : always good for the extra attack.
=> Aria of Alacrity : better action speed means better weapons use.
=> Rousing Rhythms : give you two extra attributes (which means more memory for song and more strong in general). Only trick to remember is that it only last 90s (in regard of others which last 120s).

(*) Second list :
=> Unchained Harmony : more for looting some rare chests (my rogue side).
=> Piercing shrill : i tend to like this skill because you don't need a proper line of sight to use it, you hit multiple people and does decent dammage.
=> Shirek of weakness : i am not a big fan personnaly.
=> Chaotic Discord : it is more a "fun" one : you can create a big group of ennemy and make them fight each others. Fun part is that it count for AP point, however it didn't work from memories on boss / sub boss.
=> Song of Shadow : More like a trump card of pve

So far :
=> Survival bow is pretty good for it quick use and decent damage with buff added. You can penalize easily wizzard and deal with ranger also.
=> Basic rapier and a shield will do a good combo pair up with buff and the rapier skill. The shield will allow you to deal more easily against some pve monster and the rapier, link to her fast attack speed will help you down pve and pvp fast.
=>With some song as piercing shrill, you can even dammage pvp and pve through object. It makes a good weapon if you are in a "stand up situation with a door between you".
