How to use a health potion in game

I cannot find out how to use healing potions in the game. Do I use the F key to drink the potion? What keyboard and mouse combination do I use to drink a potion? I cannot find a way to do it online, in the message boards, or anywhere.

I looked at the input options, and there is nothing there that tells me how to drink a potion.

put the potion in one of your utility slots. select the potion. left click while it's in your hand

I cannot figure out how to put the potion in the utility slots. Playing this game is awful. I should not have to ask for help something so simple. The developers should have made this easier. Or a better in game tutorial.

also when you use lockpicks on chests you need to press Space bar to stop the rotating thingy.

There is no dragging it into the slot. I tried that. If I knew how it worked, I would not have asked. If you did not want to help, then do not respond.

It does not matter anyways, I uninstalled the game, and moved it into one of my folders. I have various folders on steam for different game types, FPS, RPG, Etc... and this one went into the trash folder.

Finally figured it out. This game has an unusual and innovative way to handle utility slots. If I type '3' one time, I get the torch. If I type '3' again I get the next slot in a rotation. By default my healing potion was in rotation with a torch and bandage.

The act of hitting the same key to cycle through items is not new or innovative, this is an old mechanic.

There you go OP, you got your answer finally, thought it seems you got filtered out of the game by not knowing how to use an item. I agree with Spo0off.. if you struggled with this I don't know how you handle life in general without a tutorial.
