High Roller Minimum Gear Score Requirement Needs to be Reverted
There should not be a minimum gear score for High Roller. When you go into High Roller with a low gear score, you are accepting the risk of being at a disadvantage. This change needs to be reverted.

not allowing solos in trios is a good change. rat squeeks were good change. hide mastery nerf was a good change.

blanket gs requirement is fine, it is just too high and forces clownish tactics of buying blue ceremonial staves or whatever junk weps latest patch has created.

lastly, I dont ever play druid or rogue but aside from those, do people seriously expect better loot mode not to have farmers show up for it? because for AP, you cannot farm it anywhere else right now. just a reminder that most of everyone's PVP kit had to drop somewhere first to even make it to the market..

why would it be reverted so you can pray on lower geared people that arent prepared ? it doesnt make ANY difference for the skilled players in high roller.

You have no disadvantage, you lose nothing, it's simple as that, only 100 gold if you don't know how to play. The new requirement is good but not the best, you can buy green weapons like bardiche and it gives you a lot of gear score and then enter the dungeon.
With nothing youre at a disadvantage of SO MANY THINGS. Health, defense, other stacked players. With nothing you literally get 2 shot by any mob

Most people don't touch it because of how much of a skill discrepancy there is, skill based match making would fix this, but the streamers Ironmace caters to would scream, cry and defecate everywhere if they do.
I keep saying this on multipul different discussions... Streamers r ruining our games!!!! All competetive games are influenced by the streamers and they always seem to get nerfs and buffs that help their gameplay.
Games like War Robots r a perfect example.
When Streamers have such large funding (supported by youtube ads or viewer donations)
they can spend large amounts of money and use that as leverage to persuade devs into changes that benefit them vs. majority.

Streamers can be beneficial to a game in terms of generating player count growth and keeping the game relevant. The problem here is these particular streamers are whiny crybabies, and because they partner themselves with Ironmace, Ironmace is more forced to listen to them. Riot strikes a decent balance of listening to high elo and low elo play in different regards for League of Legends, they don't often listen to streamers, hence why the game continues to grow for so long. Balance isn't perfect, it never will be for any game, but credit where credit is due. Also note balancing is SIGNIFICANTLY easier for skill based matchmaking like what League has as opposed to DnD, where you are in a constant cluster ♥♥♥♥ of trying to balance both high and low end play in a single match, which never works out.

I will not play again until they remove the limit. See you in future updates.

To me this all highlights the problems with the games gear/loot system that I have commented on for awhile.

1. You don't get good enough loot from normal dungeons unless you just farm bosses which most people don't enjoy doing. The progress is insanely slow if you stick to normals, you will never break the mold basically without hundreds of hours.
2. HR loot is good and you need it to "progress", but you will only match with people who generally WAY overgear you and will most likely destroy you.

Where does someone with moderate gear, who can afford a few cheaper sets of blues with a purple or 2, play? If you run normals, unless you do bosses you have little chance for loot, and must hope you get stuff to sell off of players you kill. If you run HR, you are at a big disadvantage because most other players will have MUCH better gear.

I think its easy to get stuck in a rut in this game, where you have decent stuff but can never break into the higher ranks because you cannot afford the best stuff, but normals are not as enjoyable because the rewards are mediocre.

One thing that would definitely help is making HR skill based, keep the crazy people in their own high end bracket, there is ZERO matchmaking HR. Even if lower skilled players are matched with 1, 2 or even zero people in HR their skill level, the mobs themselves are much more dangerous and for their skill level would be a tough challenge in of itself. Not to mention the fact you don't get anything really from killing players 90% of the time for AP, they will usually have barely enough gear they managed to get from norms or they could afford for cheap on the market that allows them to qualify for HR. HR is effectively gate kept from most of the player base that are just normal people, with jobs or have other things to do.

Devs clearly don't like my playstyle and don't want me to play high roller; so I won't.

A fantasy co-op game with cool loot, decent maps and bosses is nice, but the devs seem to hate players who didn't que together to being nice or respectful to each other in any way.
Put another way, devs focus heavily on pvp, and not so much on the co-op or the bosses part.

I heard there was another game that was better then this one, maybe I should check that out.

In what way do devs pit players against each other? I've gotten to Exemplar with only a few pvp battles.

They don't lol. The way the point system works they actively incentivize not fighting each other as the score you get from kills is almost non existent.

Uh they're telling people to go into their systems folders to delete stuff for performance fixes.
Just rolled out an update that punishes players for using the "circle" as an extra movement option.
Still loads of varying gear quality, but it's all outpaced anyways as "Lifesteal" is currently in the Meta so your effectively fighting zombies.
Mini-Bosses still drop basic gear only i think. Etc.

So uh no i don't think things are gonna be much better over there ATM...

It's called HIGH ROLLER for a reason.

HIGH ROLLER means SPEND A LOT OF MONEY.

You should NEVER be allowed into HIGH ROLLER with trash gear.

Your motivations are clear: you want to risk nothing, and gain everything.

Like every broke, entitled person on earth, you want to be able to take other people's nice stuff without having to put any of your own stuff on the line.

You are EXACTLY the person the gear score minimums are designed to filter out of the matchmaking. How dare you show up wanting to take other people's money when you have none of your own to put on the table.

Get out and play normal lobbies until you can afford to be called a HIGH ROLLER.

It's not called BROKE LOOTER.

It's called HIGH ROLLER.

What part don't you understand?
