Dark and Darker

High roller
So I’m fairly new to the game, but I really want to get to pathfinder before this seasons wipe (sep 6). I have every character past 20 except for Druid and bard. I mainly use Wizard, Warlock, Ranger, and Cleric. I’m not sure which one I should try and grind. I play solo and duos. And tips would be extremely appreciated:)

Warlock is probably easiest for solo AP farm, as well as bosses and you probably have the highest survivability in PvP as well, but it's kinda cheap.
Personally I'd just take whatever you enjoy playing the most, but probably not wiz for solo.
AP is not shared between modes, so you have to choose which mode you want to focus on.

I did it on fighter because you can be reasonably quiet. Plus full plate helps a bit if you get hit by a mob. Warlock or Bard are going to have faster clear speeds but will also make more noise. I think you could easily do it on cleric as well.

I did it in Goblin caves but any of the maps work in the first few runs. GC just has a lower buy in than the others. The trick is to avoid the people hunting in HR. They never seemed to care that I wasn't geared. Congrats on burning a ton of time for a 10 AP kill I guess. However most people in solo HR are just trying to AP farm and aren't interested in hunting you down.

Treasure generally gets you more AP than Gear (as a rule count it as one rarity level higher) but make sure you fill your inventory either way. Break everything, loot everything, extract.

Thank you! I’ll probably try Warlock solo and/or cleric duos. I really love cosmetic stuff and I don’t wanna miss out on the racial skin.

I want to love wizard so much. I just struggle clearing pve stuff with him, so yeah I won’t be using him solo. Thank you

You can clear with the Wiz in solo PvE more easily by running a Crystal Sword and cranking your MDR up to 50% or more. I have been doing just this on my Warlock with no issue. Use an Elic or better and keep high movement speed and decent Action Speen to make the swings safer, cast with your book though. Even a Rondel a Crystal Ball works with enough move Speed to avoid hits. Just kiteike a Rogue and spend twice as much on a kit lul *cries*
