We need to add the circle back
The circle closing in is what made the game have pressure. You were pressured to move from spawn. you were pressured to have engagements with other players. You were pressured to find the random teleport.

I don't like the argument of "It forced PvP interactions" because while it's true, it's not the point. The goal of a dungeon crawler is to survive but if there's no pressure from the circle then you can just go to one of the very plentiful exits and stand there....

Without the circle you just spawn in, loot the first 1-2 rooms you're in and camp a teleport exit because your inventory is already full. The game is boring and pointless. The engagements are completely meaningless without that pressure.

We who paid for the game in early access paid for a real dungeon crawling experience. Now they've changed the game into a boring PvE grind fest.

Yeah, instead of rogues standing in their rooms landmining people, we need to go back to...rogues standing in their room landmining people until the circle decides to force them to move into another room where another rogue will landmine them. Only for the last portal spawns to be on the wrong floor, or in a wall, because true dungeon experience is dying at the end of a game anyway just because RNGesus said so.

Oh, and warlocks, clerics, and now druids existing outside the circle indefinitely because they can provide their own healing until the end of time.

Yeah because people just staying in the first room they spawn in is a much better endeavor. Surviving is guaranteed in this version of the game without the circle. So what's the point?

I dont agree with this line, ive come to enjoy tracking down players, they leave behind clues in the form of dead mobs, open doors, looted chest etc. I am the hunter in this version of the game.

That aside, bring back circle! I didnt care for every map having the circle and i dont like how every map just deals damage to every player inside it near end of round, i want a mix of things damnit

What about moving the exits toward the middle of the map, and removing the "instant" stairs exits?

We do not need to make the game more biased towards "Camp the exits" either and that's what cramming things too close to each other will do as well.

Make it so that exits are hidden and appear at ramdom spots each game and only when they become available, like 3 minutes before the end. Also, you need to find a special "keys" on mobs to open the exit and this special "key" cannot be looted on other players.

the circle had too many cons than pros + it was removed cos they don't want to make this a battleroyale which it isn't and shouldn't be.

some of the cons are that people used to hide in dark swarm indefinitely with alot of meds and camp an extract out there, it was even harder to find them back then.

and what comes to only portal extracts that it promotes certain kind of play and favors heavy frontal classes. you're forced to a small enclosed area to fight, but what if you play a class that requires kiting, or environment to succeed? like rogues, rangers or wizards they need room to operate, you can't make them push the portals which they have little chance in contesting.

i honestly hated it the most when last portals spawned in the small area and there was a barbarian standing there with their portal open and they would stand there until the last second of the map zone closing in, and they knew for sure that i can't push that given my class... sometimes i would just run into the swarm and die cos i refuse to deliver free loot for them, it was so frustrating.

You are severely over-complicating something that doesn't need it.
