how to kill troll as cleric, when he swings from above i still get the splash damage no matter what, i survive everything but that thing lowers my hp little by little

Well, there's got to be some way to do it considering people swear on cleric as a good starter class for bossing

i recommend you remove your armor before the fight if you're base kit so you move much faster. when he does the 2 handed over-head slam, move away. jump, put away weap mid air, back up out of its range. its pretty large range but very dodge-able. if he does the 1 handed overhead slam strafe directly right if you stick too close to him you'll catch the AOE dmg. his other swings can be jumped or ducked. i do troll multiple times per session on other classes so those tips apply to any class. if my advice can't get you a kill on it there are plenty of guides on youtube with varieties of strats. once you can kill it easily then you gotta practice defending against all the rogues and warlocks waiting to gank you as soon as you kill it. good luck homie. i know you can do it
