Barbarian armor suggestion
The barbarian is basically melee-only, only able to throw francisca axes or bard drums (which, for some reason, hit harder than the previously-mentioned axes) as a ranged option. Because movement speed is so damn important in the current meta, particularly on such a melee-limited class, barbarians are incentivized to avoid using their class-specific gear. At most, you see adventurer tunics and the copperlight version, and leather caps and lizards galore.

My suggestion is to remove the grand brigandine from the list of barbarian options and to adjust the helms, studded leather, and northern full tunic to be lighter armor. https://darkanddarker.featureupvote.com/suggestions/569863/make-barbarianspecific-armor-lighter

I look forward to the barb OP meta that comes after fighter and ranger are nerfed.

Yeah, how dare a melee-only class be strong in melee and be able to actually engage people in melee. Because ranged classes definitely can't pull out a melee weapon after kiting and whittling down hp with their ranged specializations or spells and still stand a good chance of winning the fight, right?

Yeah they're terrible options when compared to their contemporaries. The Northern Full reduces movement speed by the same amount as the Dark Cuirass (16), which has an AR of 80 and three stat increases on it. Hell, the Templar Armour has more AR and MR than the Northern Full and it only reduces movement speed by 11.

Yeah, and on discord I keep getting "They're good in trios!" Really? Are they good in trios? Sure, they're the best PDR option barbarians get, but compared to the equivalent on other frontline-capable classes, some of which actually have ranged weapons or spells?

It's less "good in trios" and more like "not as bad in trios", and only because your team can make up for your inability to keep up with anyone by tanking your MS for what is mediocre protection. They're still not good, and I still don't wear them.
