+1 Physical Power or +1 Additional Weapon Damage -- which is better?
I'm trying to figure out which attributes are better to have on weapons and other items but I'm having some trouble. The wiki's Stats page that people often link to is opaque so I'm hoping to get a final, clear answer, if y'all know it.

If I have two weapons and one has +1 Physical Power and the other has +1 Additional Weapon Damage, and they're otherwise identical, which will cause more damage? I *think* it might depend on my current Physical Power (which I think is called "From Physical Power" on the stats screen).

If my Physical Power is 14, +1 point should increase the bonus by 2% according to the wiki, whereas +1 Additional Weapon Damage on a 23 damage weapon is a ~4% bump. Is that correct?

afaik, phys power adds to the %overall increase to weapon damage output, making it generally stronger with better gear, whereas additional wep dmg is flat and is boosted by your overall physical power %.

The base damage calculation formula appears to be:

(((Base dmg +Weapon/Magical dmg) * Physical Power bonus
+Additional damage
+/- hit location bonus
- Damage reduction
- Projectile reduction
+ True Damage

tl:dr at lower gear levels, additional damage probably edges out, with Phys Power taking over at medium to higher gear levels. True phys/magic is great at any gear level, for obvious reasons.
