also its not like the dummies even have armor ratings so they're really only useful for getting an idea of a weapons performance and not necessarily how its gonna work in real fighting. again something people will figure out on each other regardless
Like 10 strength, 25 strength, same thing if it takes you 4 swings. But if you manage to get down to under 3 swings, you just unlocked all those stats and they actually apply to your character. If you have tism this math would drive you nuts if youre on the bad side of it, and not knowing the numbers in the first place means you simply cant do the calculations.
Im really good at math, it means I have to think really hard to gain an advantage but I CAN gain that advantage. By simplifying it, it helps slower people who simply can never conceive of such math let alone doing it rapidly on the fly - but it also helps other people not have to think too hard about a game.
But for everyone else, no the numbers would be unknown. How many swings it takes to kill people.
