it seems like a free disengage tool they can use when they screw up their spacing if it didnt give move speed alright but it seems kinda stupid

I have no idea.

Half the lobbies I join are warlock. hardly anyone playing fighter/barb. Lock>Wiz>Rouge/druid>everything else... That says a lot about balance. There are like 5 boards about the warlock in the past day. Being stuck with one class for now I seem to have chose poorly. At least I've been able to scare off rouges but warlock insta aggro across the room and dodge through mobs and still come out on top somehow because they know they can win ezpz. Actually, sapping 3/4/5 targets at the same time is probably a pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sweet deal. I hope something gets balanced soon. I think the devs smoking that heisenburg if they focusing on the 25/125/<125 balancing that's not that bad at all.

pretty much. the norms lobbies right now are like 25%+ lock and 25%+ cleric (usually Smite cleric). once you get to 125+ GS it's like another 25% landmine rogue.

edit: kinda surprised to hear you say wiz since the wiz population is extremely low right now, but maybe I'm missing something

I mean, I don't know what you are talking about with class distribution, this guy collected data of the in-game lobby and used scripts to sort the data into pie charts, then narrowed down by level for further graphs. https://www.reddit.com/r/DarkAndDarker/comments/1e114oz/hf55_class_distribution_data_i_recorded_from/
And from my experience I do think this is quite accurate for in raid distribution.

its honestly one of the more balanced abilities in the game I feel like the dev should nerf cleric more and rogue

the issue players have against rogues right now isn't with the class as whole. it's with landmine.

the only counterplay is wiz Light Orb (which has 5 charges) and druid Dreamwalk (which is just... it's own issue).

landmine rogues right now are killing all but the very best geared PDR fighters with Weakpoint. it doesn't make sense.

I agree that broadly speaking rogue is finally in a good place. pretending landmine specifically isn't an issue right now is just disingenuous though

I honestly don't know how they could deal with landmine rogue without hamstringing regular rogue, and that to me feels like a core design issue with the whole "Feast or famine" issue Rogue has.

Hell Rogue probably has the lowest number of alternative playstyles out of every class at the moment imo, and that just kind of screams at me just how "all the eggs in one basket" Rogue is.
I have not ran across a landmine rogue yet.

I honestly don't know, either. I just know in 125+ GS dungeons if I don't sit/clarity pot/camp between rooms so that I can spam Light Orb before and after walking in I'm at risk of randomly dying in two hits right now and losing my gear. and if this is how I feel, I can imagine how some classes that actually have zero counterplay feel.

at high GS they know not to touch a single mob in the room, there's realistically no way to know if there's a rogue near you.

I've seen players using uncommon protection pots between rooms. this landmine meta is cancer for the game

At this point if I see a Wizard Hat I just assume it's a DoTlock.

Only times I've ever seen a Wizard is rarely in Trios or when I'm playing one.
