pretty much. the norms lobbies right now are like 25%+ lock and 25%+ cleric (usually Smite cleric). once you get to 125+ GS it's like another 25% landmine rogue.
edit: kinda surprised to hear you say wiz since the wiz population is extremely low right now, but maybe I'm missing something
And from my experience I do think this is quite accurate for in raid distribution.
the issue players have against rogues right now isn't with the class as whole. it's with landmine.
the only counterplay is wiz Light Orb (which has 5 charges) and druid Dreamwalk (which is just... it's own issue).
landmine rogues right now are killing all but the very best geared PDR fighters with Weakpoint. it doesn't make sense.
I agree that broadly speaking rogue is finally in a good place. pretending landmine specifically isn't an issue right now is just disingenuous though
Hell Rogue probably has the lowest number of alternative playstyles out of every class at the moment imo, and that just kind of screams at me just how "all the eggs in one basket" Rogue is.
I honestly don't know, either. I just know in 125+ GS dungeons if I don't sit/clarity pot/camp between rooms so that I can spam Light Orb before and after walking in I'm at risk of randomly dying in two hits right now and losing my gear. and if this is how I feel, I can imagine how some classes that actually have zero counterplay feel.
at high GS they know not to touch a single mob in the room, there's realistically no way to know if there's a rogue near you.
I've seen players using uncommon protection pots between rooms. this landmine meta is cancer for the game
if you're playing low GS norms that would be why
Only times I've ever seen a Wizard is rarely in Trios or when I'm playing one.
